Family Home Foundations
Family Home Ministries was launched in Haiti on December 24, 2017 by Francky Dena and Jaelle Leuche Dena. Jaelle grew up in a Haitian orphanage run by Grace International. Francky's education in Haiti was supported by the generosity of donors. Following the help they received in the past, they felt led to support others in a similar way and followed God's call to begin an orphanage for girls. Today, it is established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and continues to support the growing needs of the Haitian girls within the orphanage.
Through the loss of parents and caretakers, severe poverty, devastating earthquakes, and local gang violence, these young orphaned girls have survived unimaginable hardships. By 2024, the orphanage was forced to emergency evacuate their previous region due to gang violence in the area, leaving everything behind. Donations to Family Home Ministries not only contribute toward food, housing, schooling, and medical costs, but also help replenish basic hygiene and comfort needs that had been lost in this transition.
