Donations and Sponsorships

Family Home Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit for tax-deductible donations. We have several donation and sponsorship opportunities available, and can customize a donation to fit the donor's wishes. Please contact us if you have any questions or special requests.

Option 1:

Donate to the

General Fund

Donors can gift any amount to the general fund. These donations help to provide food, shelter, and cover additional expenses to run the orphanage. These donations can be made once or on a recurring basis.

Option 2:

A Gift from the Wish List

The Family Home Ministries Wish List evolves as needs change. Donors have the option to contribute to the purchase of specific items that help the orphanage flourish. Current wish list items are:

12 Hygiene Kits (bath, toothbrush,

feminine supplies, etc.): $100.00

Household Utensils

(pots, pans, dishes): $200.00

Emergency Storm Kit (solar panels &

batteries for power outages): $300.00

Household Laptop Computer

(for homework, usage to be

monitored by House Mom): $500.00

3 Bunk Bed Sets and

Mattresses: $1,600.00

Tutoring for children who struggle

in school: $1,800.00 (full year)

Option 3:

Individual Sponsorships

Sponsorships are a $50/month contribution to help cover a girl's basic needs. It's often customary to send an additional small donation around the child's birthday and Christmas, as well. Sponsors will be sent occasional updates on their sponsored child's welfare and development.

Sponsorships of individual girls are taken very seriously at Family Home Ministries. For many of these girls, the sponsor is the only "family" they have outside of the orphanage. In this way, the girls see their sponsors as a virtual adoption and often call them "Mom" or "Dad." For this reason, we request sponsorships only be initiated if the donor is prepared to maintain the sponsorship through the child's adolescence.
